The Postal Federal Employee Program (FEP) is a nationwide Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program administered through local Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association plans, approved by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This program should not be confused with the HMSA Plan for Postal Service Employees (coverage code M6). The Postal FEP plan code is 33 for the FEP Blue Standard Option, FEP Blue Basic, and plan code 35 for the FEP Blue Focus option. The Postal FEP membership cards are identified by coverage codes 33D, 33E, and 33F for the FEP Blue Standard Option and 33A, 33B, and 33C for the FEP Blue Basic Option. FEP Blue Focus enrollment codes are 35A, 35B, and 35C.

*The Prescription Drug Program (PDP) Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) is a new CMS Medicare Part D type of product required by the PSHB Program. This plan provides richer prescription drug benefits for Postal Service annuitants.
