Medicare

To learn more about HMSA’s 65C Plus (Cost), attend a no obligation, free session.

Medicare is health insurance for people age 65 or older, under age 65 with certain disabilities, and any age with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant). Medicare helps with the cost of health care, but it does not pay for all medical expenses or the cost of long-term care. Check with Social Security for enrollment and premium information.

If you are eligible for Medicare, HMSA has health plans that complement your Medicare coverage and provide you with peace of mind, knowing how much you will pay for services.

HMSA’s 65C Plus (Cost) is a health plan with a Medicare contract, providing benefits beyond what Medicare covers. 65C Plus (Cost) is designed exclusively for residents of Hawaii and includes a large provider network, with more than 2,000 providers statewide. Personal care physicians work with you to help maintain your good health. HMSA also offers 65C Plus Drug Coverage to help you manage the cost of prescription drugs.

HMSA’s Medicare Rx Plan (PDP) is a Medicare approved Part D sponsor. It is available only through employer/union groups for Medicare beneficiaries.

HMSA’s Senior Connection is a Medigap (Medicare Supplemental Insurance) plan. Although Senior Connection is not accepting new members, plan materials are available for current members.
