Hawaii’s people give HMSA its purpose. In addition to making the best health care available to residents at an affordable cost, we also contribute our time and money to enhance our community.
HMSA employees statewide raise money for United Way every year. On Oahu, fundraisers include a country fair, farmers market, craft fair, bake sale, flower sale, silent auction, and Executive Breakfast, where HMSA executives cook the meal and serve employees.
Blood Bank of Hawaii
For nearly four decades, HMSA employees have donated blood to help others live. We conduct five blood drives annually, where our employees donate more than 300 pints.
Compassion and caring for Hawaii’s people drive HMSA to support and sponsor community events and programs. If you’re interested in partnering with HMSA for a worthy cause, please review our guidelines and fill out an online application.
HMSA participates in a different charity walk each year. We’ve sponsored and participated in many walks across the state that include March of Dimes, American Heart Association, and more.
No one should have to go hungry. HMSA donates food and cash every year to the Hawaii Foodbank, which helps feed people in need.
