Healthy cookbooks were given to those who participated in a fun scavenger hunt, and participants could come together and exchange seeds for a wide variety of local plants.

Booths at the Ho`olaule`a also featured cooking demonstrations, beverage samples and Hawaiian entertainment throughout the day. Other activities included diabetes screenings, hula, singing, and more.
