Are you thinking about retiring in 2006 or 2007? Do you know how to assess your
retirement health care needs? Are you aware of health plan eligibility requirements
and enrollment deadlines? The Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) can help
you prepare for your health care needs in retirement, and it starts with a free
information session.
In August, HMSA will conduct retirement information sessions on Oahu to help people
begin the process of planning for retirement. They will learn about health plan
enrollment deadlines and eligibility requirements. They will also learn about HMSA’s
50 Plus plan, 65C Plus plan, and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans.
Information sessions will be held in the HMSA Center at 818 Keeaumoku St. in Honolulu.
Sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday, Aug. 8, 9 to 10:30 a.m., Room S-100 (lobby level)
- Wednesday, Aug. 9, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Multi-Purpose Room (lobby level)
To reserve your seat at one of the sessions, please call HMSA on Oahu at (808) 948-5152.
There is no charge to attend the sessions, and HMSA will provide refreshments and
validated parking at the HMSA Center. Seating is limited, so call early.
HMSA is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
