transition because your coverage begins the day after your previous HMSA group plan
ends.

- A comprehensive plan for all your medical needs, including medical, dental and vision
benefits and mail-order maintenance drugs for you and your eligible dependents.
- Your choice of a network health center and personal care physician (PCP) to coordinate
your medical needs.
- Coverage until you are eligible for Medicare.
Peace of mind
As you prepare for retirement, we understand that every dollar counts.
- Fixed copayments for doctor office visits, so you’ll always know how much to pay
up front.
- Preventive dental services are provided at no charge.
Taking care of loved ones
50 Plus allows you to continue taking care of your family by allowing eligible dependents
to be covered under this plan as long as they continue to meet eligibility requirements.
Coverage that travels with you
HMSA provides you with peace of mind if you need medical attention while traveling
outside Hawaii. HMSA belongs to the Blue Cross and Blue Shield network of health
care providers, so you can rely on the BlueCard® Program for
access to the nation’s largest network. BlueCard offers you coverage coast to coast
with access to over 500,000 providers nationwide. Outside the United States, you
have access to doctors
and hospitals in more than 200 countries and territories around the world through
the BlueCard Worldwide Program.
