Healthy teeth and gums are important to your overall health.
HMSA’s Dental HMO plan provides all your dental care from a
primary care dentist or network of your choice with no annual
maximum. You receive a wide array of benefits, some with no
charge and others with a special member rate charge.
With HMSA’s Dental HMO, you must choose one of the following dental networks:
- Hawaii Family Dental Center (HFDC)
- Dental Independent Network (DIN)
Members in DIN must select a primary care dentist for their dental
needs. Members in HFDC are not required to choose a primary care dentist.
If you choose to see a dentist outside of the plan without a referral,
you will have to pay the total charge.
