Food portion sizes have expanded over the last 20 years, and as a result, so have
our waistlines. We really don't need a six-inch bagel or a super-size portion of
fries. The added calories have to go somewhere, so they get stored in our bodies
as fat.
Reduce your food portions to what was considered normal 20 years ago by saving half
for later, splitting a plate, or ordering a half plate. Slowly scale down to normal
portion sizes and the pounds will start to drop.
