HMSA members have access to the largest health provider network in Hawaii and to more than 500,000 preferred Blue Cross and Blue Shield providers nationwide and across the globe.

• Travel insurance:  If your plan covers routine and emergency services but excludes medical evacuation, you may want to consider purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance may provide coverage for emergency medical evacuation if you are involved in an accident and adequate medical treatment is not available where you are.
