Find an HMSA participating retail pharmacy

Choose an HMSA participating retail pharmacy to receive the best benefit from your drug coverage.

To find participating retail pharmacies in Hawaii:

• Use the Find a Facility search.
  (Right click on the link to open the page in a new browser window.)
  1. Select your drug plan type in the Plan Name drop-down list: Drug PPO or Drug HMO.
  2. Select the appropriate island in the Island drop-down list.
  3. Select Pharmacy in the Specialty drop-down list.
  4. Select or fill out any other fields if applicable.
  5. Click on Submit.
• Use Medco's Locate a Pharmacy tool.
  1. Log in to My Account on hmsa.com.
  2. Select Find a Pharmacy from the menu on the right of the My Account home page.
  3. Enter the ZIP code or city and state in the provided field for the area in which you are seeking a pharmacy.
  4. Click on Locate a Pharmacy.

For services from nonparticipating pharmacies, you will be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service and will need to submit a drug claim for reimbursement of your drug plan benefit. 

Please refer to your plan certificate for information on the specific benefits and provisions of your plan. The language in the certificate takes precedence over any other description of plan benefits you may have.
