Community Giving

HMSA was founded in 1938, based on the belief that everyone in the community could have medical care if they were willing to share the costs. This theme of shared responsibility has remained HMSA’s guiding principle since its inception. As a large nonprofit organization, and as individuals, we are dedicated to improving the health of our community.
