2010 Achievements
The Domestic Violence Action Center. In March, HMSA was awarded
the Corporate Stewardship Award for being an active and committed corporate partner
over the last 20 years.
HealthMedia. In May, HealthMedia recognized HMSA with a Fusion
Award for having the largest participation increase in digital health coaching programs.
The University of Hawaii Foundation. In June, HMSA was awarded
a Certificate of Appreciation for its generous support of rural medical education
at the University of Hawaii at Manoa John A. Burns School of Medicine.
Hawaii Publishers Association. HMSA’s Island Scene
magazine received two awards in the 25th Annual Pa‘i Awards in
June:
- First place in the Trade Magazine category.
- First place in the Editorial Feature category.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In November, HMSA was recognized
for its support of the 2010 Walk to Cure Diabetes as a Diamond Sponsor.
Pacific Institute of Nursing. The HMSA Foundation was recognized
as a Nurse Champion in 2010.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. HMSA was awarded the Energy
Star Award in 2010.
