Ka Honua Momona

We will host 12 community work days annually, caring for two 30-acre ancient Hawaiian fishponds. This will engage 500 family members with children up to age 8 and early education schools/groups in our "Pond Playstations" and host 5,000 hours of community volunteer service annually.

This project will help us remove invasive species: 150 pounds of fish and crabs, 6,000 pounds of seaweed, remove one acre of mangrove, 150,000 mangrove seedlings, and maintain three acres of previously cleared mangrove.
